                                                  Home Repair Contract
 

___________________, Homeowner, desires to contract with Project Handyman,

 

Contractor, to perform certain work on property located at:

 

 

 

1. Job Description

 

The work to be performed under this agreement consists of the following:

 

 

 

 

2. Payment Terms

 

In exchange for the specified work, Homeowner agrees to pay Project Handyman as follows (choose and check the appropriate lines):

 

__ a. Payable upon completion of the specified work

 

__ b. Payable one half at the beginning of the specified work and one half at the completion of the specified work

 

__c. Payable for material cost at beginning of specified work and remaining payment due upon completion of specified work.

 

__d. Investigative work. Estimate is based on visual inspection. Further labor and or material may be necessary to complete project. This work will be reflected in a *change order.

 

*Change order: Upon inspection additional materials and/or labor may be needed. Additional materials and/or labor may increase cost to original estimate. Homeowner will be advised and consulted prior to any further work being performed, until Homeowner and Project Handyman have agreed to any and all changes.

3. Billing

 

Project is billed per man hour, this is reflected in the total hours on estimate.

 

Example: 2 men working for 4 hours = 8 billing hours.

 

4. License , Insurance and Bonding

 

Project Handyman License # PROJEH*916DF

 

Insured and Bonded thru Farmers Insurance Group

 

5. Liability Waiver

 

If contractor is injured in the course of performing the specific work, Homeowner shall be exempt from liability for those injuries to the fullest extent allowed by law.

 

6. Permits and Approvals

 

*Homeowner shall be responsible for determining which permits are necessary and for obtaining the permits.

 

*Homeowner shall pay for all state and local permits necessary for performing the specific work.

 

*Homeowner shall be responsible for obtaining approval from the local homeowner’s association, if required.

 

Project Handyman will be available to assist in any scheduling of necessary inspections required by permits, obtained by Homeowner.

Homeowner and Project Handyman here by agree to the terms set forth in this contract.
